Sarfaroshi ki tamanna ab hamaare dil mein hai.

Sarfaroshi Ki Tamanna
Sarfaroshi ki tamanna ab hamaare dil mein hai.
Dekhna hai zor kitna baazuay qaatil mein hai
Karta nahin kyun doosra kuch baat cheet,
Dekhta hun main jise voh chup teri mehfil mein hai
Ay shaheed-e-mulk-o-millat main tere oopar nisaar,
Ab teri himmat ka charcha ghair ki mehfil mein hai
Sarfaroshi ki tamanna ab hamaare dil mein hai.
Waqt aanay dey bata denge tujhe ay aasman,
Hum abhi se kya batayen kya hamare dil mein hai
Khainch kar layee hai sab ko qatl hone ki ummeed,
Aashiqon ka aaj jamghat koocha-e-qaatil mein hai
Sarfaroshi ki tamanna ab hamaare dil mein hai.
Hai liye hathiyaar dushman taak mein baitha udhar,
Aur hum taiyyaar hain seena liye apna idhar.
Hum to ghar se nikle hi the baandhkar sar pe qafan,
Chaahatein liin bhar liye lo bhar chale hain ye qadam.
Zindagi to apni mehmaan maut ki mehfil mein hai,
Sarfaroshi ki tamanna ab hamaare dil mein hai.
Dil mein tuufaanon ki toli aur nason mein inquilaab,
Hosh dushman ke udaa denge humein roko na aaj.
Duur reh paaye jo humse dam kahaan manzil mein hai,
Sarfaroshi ki tamanna ab hamaare dil mein hai.
Dekhna hai zor kitna baazuay qaatil mein hai.
Yoon khara maqtal mein qatil keh raha hai baar-baar,
Kya tamanna-e-shahaadat bhi kisi ke dil mein hai.

Yahoo buys Web video site Jumpcut

September 28, 2006 (IDG News Service) -- Yahoo Inc. agreed to buy Web video editing and publishing site Jumpcut.com on Wednesday, as Internet companies continue to seek ways to compete with YouTube Inc.

The move comes nearly four months after the Sunnyvale, Calif., company revamped its own Yahoo Video site, and could foretell further acquisitions in the Web video space. Microsoft Corp. recently opened the beta version of its online video-sharing service last week, Soapbox on MSN Video, while AOL LLC unveiled a revamped video portal in late July to strengthen its position against YouTube and Google Video.

Yahoo and Jumpcut both announced the deal on company blogs, and Jumpcut even made a short video to commemorate the event.

The video site will join a host of other Yahoo properties, including Flickr and Del.icio.us. The deal will help Jumpcut reach a broader audience, and gain "more creators, more content and more exciting things to do," it said.

Yahoo said Jumpcut would be part of the Yahoo Video family, indicating that the online Web video service would not replace Yahoo's own video service

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Jumpcut was founded and run by MiraVida Media Inc., a San Francisco company.

YouTube thrashed all rivals in a count of U.S. visitors from Hitwise Pty. Ltd. earlier this year, with 43% of traffic to video sites, nearly double the share of runner-up MySpace.com. Myspace, in turn, held twice as much market share as the third- and fourth-place video sites, Yahoo and MSN. In a more recent survey earlier this month, YouTube captured 60% of all U.K. online video traffic.

India to develop its version of GPS

India will develop its own version of the Global Positioning System by launching seven satellites in the next six years, Indian Space Research Organisation Chairman G Madhavan Nair said in Hyderabad on Thursday.

The Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS), expected to be functional by 2012, will be used for surveying, telecommunications, transport, identifying disaster areas and public safety among others.

The satellites will be placed at a higher so-called geostationary orbit to have a larger signal footprint and lower number of satellites to map the region, he said.

The first satellite of the proposed constellation, developed at a cost of Rs 1,600 crore is expected to be launched in 2009.

Addressing a press conference on the sidelines of the 58th International Astronautical Congress (IAC), Nair said India had the capability to launch a mission to Mars but there were no concrete proposals for research on the Red Planet.

''The technological capability exists. We can use the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) to send a 500 kg payload to Mars,'' he added.

However, he said to undertake a manned mission to Mars a very powerful rocket system was required to propel the spacecraft to the planet.

On putting man in space, he said ISRO was preparing a project report on undertaking a human spaceflight. ''We will submit the report to the government by March for its approval,'' he further said.

He also said that during the IAC he held bilateral talks with heads of seven space agencies, including that of the US, Russia and China
